Every count comes from ACOTE’s school directory (retrieved October 9, 2026), the official list of accredited and developing OT and OTA programs. A school offering both an OTD and a master’s counts twice. Programs ACOTE marks inactive are excluded. Older figures you may see online (for example 2023 counts) predate many of today’s programs.
